Care Instructions

😎 Light:
The Monkey Jar plant, also known as Nepenthes, thrives in bright, indirect light. It can tolerate some direct sunlight, especially in the morning or late afternoon, but too much direct light can cause leaf burn. It prefers dappled shade or filtered light, mimicking its natural habitat.

💧 Water:
Monkey Jar plants require consistently moist soil. They prefer distilled or rainwater, as tap water can contain minerals that may harm the plant. The soil should never dry out completely, but it should also not be waterlogged to prevent root rot. High humidity is also essential for their growth.

The more light your plant gets, the more you'll need to water it. Similarly, the less light it gets, the less it will need.

⛏️ Difficulty: Care required

The Monkey Jar plant can be moderately challenging to maintain due to its specific humidity and watering needs, making it better suited for those with some experience in plant care..

🐩 Pets: Careful with pets

This plant is toxic to pets if ingested, so it should be kept out of reach of cats and dogs.
