😎 Light:

Caladiums thrive in partial shade to full shade conditions. They prefer dappled sunlight or filtered light rather than direct sunlight, especially during the hottest part of the day. Too much sun exposure can cause the leaves to scorch or fade, so it's essential to provide them with a shaded environment, such as under trees, near taller plants, or on a covered patio. Indirect sunlight or bright, indirect light is ideal for maintaining vibrant foliage color and healthy growth in caladiums.


💧 Water:

Caladiums prefer consistently moist soil but not waterlogged, so it's essential to water them regularly during the growing season. However, they don't tolerate standing water, which can lead to root rot, so ensure the soil has good drainage. It's best to water deeply but infrequently, allowing the top inch of soil to dry out slightly between waterings. During hot weather, you may need to water more frequently to prevent the soil from drying out completely. Additionally, providing a layer of organic mulch can help retain moisture and regulate soil temperature for optimal growth.
